Holly Trees at St Stephen's is based in the Foundation Stage Unit. Staff from Holly Trees work closely alongside their colleagues from the Foundation Stage Unit to provide excellent quality care and an outstanding play and learning environment to develop and enhance all the areas of learning based on the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework for children.

The children are able to access the indoor and outdoor environments through free flow play therefore being able to make their own choices and develop positivive self-esteem and independence.

The children have access to a forest school site on the grounds of the school. The children are able to develop confidence, independence and risk taking skills by using the suitable tools and equipment under supervision from experienced adults.
